The IH 476 and US 1 junction.
This is a “Stacked Diamond” or “Volleyball” Stylee.
Basically,a meeting of two freeways done on the cheap.
The shots are from east to west: IH 476 is crossing overhead.
The on slip for the IH 476 joins in on the right;
and we enter the Media Bypass Freeway section of US 1.
No word yet on if it was “Liberal” or “New” Media we were bypassing.
Doesn’t matter. It’s all the same to me.
The PA 252 junction on US 1.
This is close to the Media Cemetery.

The end of the Media Bypass;
hard by the PA 352 elevated junction, with a level junction thrown in for fun.

The PA 352 junction is a lo-rent cloverleaf,
with appropriately lo-rent signage.

A railway overpass just north of the junction with WaWa Road.

And here we are just over the line in Lancaster County, PA.
Turned around and heading back south on PA 272.
Southeast, actually.
Amish hot rods are a common obstacle in this neck ’o’ the woods.
PA 272 turns to the south for real here.
You get fair warning that the opposing left doesn’t stop.
So if ya get mowed down by an Amish Hotrod,
Don’t come cryin’ to me!
On PA 272 and within spitting distance of MD!
Now we’re on MD 272 and another county gets clinched(by Me)!

And we turn back north onto MD 213.
As the snaps show, this was recently redone at the time we drove through.
So recently, that MDTRANS hadn’t taken down all the works sines yet.
