Trying to take snaps while making complicated and dangerous manouvres on the freeway can be a bit hazardous to your health.
So I copped to a cute little old DV cam here recently; and while I was pooting about I had the little devil rolling.
I actually got some reasonably useful pictures(IMHO). They're all in greyscale, since that seems to crank the resolution
.

Looking westbound at the end of the Casey Highway.
At the northern end of the Scranton Expressway.
This is a rather convoluted junction that includes a lot of funky slip ramps and a full cloverleaf.
Detail of the sign for IH 81 south.
Note the "E modified" 6-I've seen more than a few of these on standalone signs in PA.
Restricted speed for lorries over 20 000 pounds(unladen?) on the PA 307 slip road ahead.
This is just north of the large snap of the PA 307 gantry.
Looking southbound on the Scranton Expressway, towards the 7th Street junction.
Now we're entering the Central Scranton Expressway-SR 3032. This doesn't have a number.
It should be IH 981.
Central Scranton Expressway.
Note how you lose the central guardrail....
Southbound on the Expressway, and your central reservation is a raised concrete island...
...But the Speed Limit is 55. The Scranton Expressway-which has a Jersey Barrier, is posted for 50 MPH. Figure that.
Non-mountable kerbing and no hard shoulder here :P
Coming up on the IH 81 junction here.
The signs here aren't as spiffy as you'd see on the Interstate mainline.
The overpasses for the IH 81 junction.
Further on-the road splits up-
This is the slip road for IH 81 northbound.
Per above...
Joining the IH 81 northbound mainline.
I like the old one-piece curved light posts.
Back to the 21st century here,
about a mile from JN 187 on IH 81 northbound.
Inside JN 187 now-On the IH 84 slip road.
Now on IH 84 proper.
JN 1 is sort of close to the JN 187 stack.
Now we do a little backbone slip and are on IH 81 southbound just south of JN 188.
The US 6 sign has a series "D" number here.
Looking at the flyovers in the JN 187 stack.
And back on the US 6 freeway eastbound near JN 1.
US 6 is 65 MPH for the entire freeway section.
JN 2 eastbound.
A nice straight shot on US 6, looking eastbound.
A mileage sign near JN 3.
JN 3 on US 6.
Per above
The JN 3 slip road leaving the freeway.
A curve on US 6 eastbound.
JN 4. There's a lorry weight restriction on this road.
East of junction 4.
Junction 5.
Another curve shot here.
A "Truck Info" sign, advising that lorries over 10 tonnes can't leave US 6 via "Exit 7".

Approach to "Exit 7" on US 6. It's a level junction. :P

And "Exit 7" itself.
Just east of "Exit 7". The speed limit drops to 45 MPH ahead.
Back to reality on US 6. It's pretty much like this for the rest of the way through the state.
